Cloud Engineer

Remote / Hybrid · USD 150,000 – 400,000 / month

Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and secure cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.

Techx4u is looking for a Cloud Engineer to help design, implement, maintain, and secure cloud environments for our clients. The role will involve Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, virtual machines, security, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure. You will work on real-world client environments and contribute to cloud migrations, infrastructure improvements, troubleshooting, automation, and security initiatives.

What you will do

  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure resources and services.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity.
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and cloud authentication.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and investigate performance or availability issues.
  • Implement security controls, access policies, MFA, and least-privilege practices.
  • Assist with cloud migrations, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure projects.
  • Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell or other tools.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
  • Practical Microsoft Azure experience.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
  • Experience with Windows Server and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Azure Administrator Associate certification.
  • Azure Security Engineer experience.
  • Microsoft Intune experience.
  • PowerShell automation.
  • AWS experience.
  • Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience.
  • Docker or containerization experience.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms.
  • Cybersecurity or vulnerability management experience.
  • MSP experience.
